Rivers of Resilience salmon stories film festival: Water Wars (how to avoid)

Salmon Stories, A Film Festival: Water Wars (how to avoid)

Date: Friday, November 13

Time: 6 – 8 pm

Location: Old City Hall | Whatcom Museum, Bellingham, Washington

Join us for an evening at Whatcom Museum’s Rivers of Resilence Salmon Stories Film Festival. As winter flows surge, summer flows dwindle, and water rights adjudication raises the stakes for everyone who depends on the river, tribal fishers, farmers, and civic leaders are choosing to sit down with one another rather than retreat to sides.

Over two hours, we'll screen short films from the project and pair them with reflections and visions from our team and community members. Learn we've learned so far and where watershed collaboration in Whatcom County could go next. Come listen, reflect, and help write the next chapter for this watershed.

Hosted in partnership with the Whatcom Museum and the Whatcom County Library System.

This event is free to attend, but seats are limited, so advance registration is required to reserve your spot.
